Smoothies are a great way to get in some protein and much needed vitamins and minerals aka fruits and vegetables. As a whole, we could all stand to increase our vegetable intake and smoothies offer a tasty, fast, on-the-go option. To make a yummy complete smoothie incorporate a protein (protein powder, egg whites), healthy carbs (whole fruit, 2-3 different vegetables like spinach/romaine lettuce/celery/cucumber/beets/
etc), and a little healthy fat (nut butter/whole nuts/seeds/avocado)
