Our Strongman class is meant to teach you how to use your body to effectively lift odd, heavy objects.
Learn how to use your body when circumstances aren’t perfect. In real life, not everything you pick up is shaped like a barbell.
You’ll learn how to adapt what you’ve learned in CrossFit to flip tires, lift atlas stones, swing sledge hammers, and shouldering/carrying heavy loads.
What you should expect:
Each class starts with a warmup that will help get your body warm and ready for the workout. From there you’ll work on developing skills and building strength with various odd objects, and then we always incorporate a WOD where you can put to practice some of the skills you’ve been building.
Why you should participate:
Working with odd and heavy objects helps build strength and body awareness. You’ll also notice increased core stability as well as increased grip strength.
